Social Care Faces Looming Cash Crisis, Say MPs On Health Committee

I have spent nearly 5 years looking at " How Care In The Community " is set-up to work and it works in every case in favor of the suppliers of care and not the client`s, who receive care. When l started this investigat­ion l was of the opinion that the elderly, vulnerable and infirm get the best care from our organisati­ons, charities and providers. This is clearly along way from the truth as companies vie for their share of this lucrative and expanding market-pla­ce making millions in some cases, whilst others much smaller and more caring get squeezed out.



This is not a case of " Care In The Community" but more of a case of " Profit Over People " we do not just need to reform the present system we need to tear it down and start from the foundation­s upward.



Don`t get me wrong their are a few really caring soles but they are becoming fewer daily by the fact that they are becoming disillusio­ned by the fact that they cannot change anything, so why bother trying. Then we end up with people that care about how many calls can l visit and how much can l earn.
