IMF Downgrades Britain's Economic Growth Forecast

Any economy is built on the growth of that country and the system of achieving such growth. The United Kingdom relies like so many other westernised countries on spending money on goods and services. These goods and services are provided at a price with emphasis based on profit and not quality or how useful. But we do not supply useful goods and services that have longevity but we look to make a quick buck and get out into another more lucrative business, this becomes our economy of growth.

It places the people in debt as they have to borrow more to support their buying of so much worthless throwaway possessions and our politicians say these words over and over again

" We Need To Stimulate Growth " meaning people are not spending enough and like sheep they are led like lambs to the slaughter and end up with miserable lives making them feel worthless human beings like the possessions they hold so dear, even at the expensive of their family.

Social Care Faces Looming Cash Crisis, Say MPs On Health Committee

I have spent nearly 5 years looking at " How Care In The Community " is set-up to work and it works in every case in favor of the suppliers of care and not the client`s, who receive care. When l started this investigation l was of the opinion that the elderly, vulnerable and infirm get the best care from our organisations, charities and providers. This is clearly along way from the truth as companies vie for their share of this lucrative and expanding market-place making millions in some cases, whilst others much smaller and more caring get squeezed out.

This is not a case of " Care In The Community" but more of a case of " Profit Over People " we do not just need to reform the present system we need to tear it down and start from the foundations upward.

Don`t get me wrong their are a few really caring soles but they are becoming fewer daily by the fact that they are becoming disillusioned by the fact that they cannot change anything, so why bother trying. Then we end up with people that care about how many calls can l visit and how much can l earn.

JPMorgan Chase Earnings 4Q 2011: 'Mildly Disappointing' Year Means Customers Could Pay

We squeeze the banks they punish the customers that provide the money that makes their business successful. Well now we tax the banks and squeeze their profits and they do not care about customers as the money in their banks are their own investment profits, which is much greater than the money customers pay into their banks daily.

We may not need to bank with them but they do not need us to bank with them either, this is the difference between now and then, then they needed retail banking and our money, now they do not and sooner rather than later they will not need us at all.

Eurozone Crisis: Standard And Poors Downgrades Euro Bailout Fund

By changing its name from EFSF to ESM and creating another vehicle will not detract from the fact that by buying increasing amounts of debt from countries totally ill equipped to repay their present repayments, it will not save the present situation.

The first and most fundamental change has to come from firm foundations of how does the country receiving any bailout fund repay the amount they borrow. They need trade contracts that are secured with the funds not idle promises of support.

Nick Clegg To Reveal Plans For 'John Lewis' Style Economy

The more l have followed the exploits of our coalition leader the more l have seen the change in his party political stance from liberalism to conservatism, this is just one such change. I am not against sharing per se but by allowing everyone the chance to share in wealth of any company will allow those with more to own more and thus still enable those with more to dictate to those with less.

Bailiff Behaviour Targeted By Ministry Of Justice

This is an act that should be repealed and given a complete overhaul given to how this is applied in today`s cash strapped world.

From a young age we are taught by successive governments that to keep the economy growing we need to buy goods and services, even if this means borrowing money on credit arrangements. As from our first agreement we are all on a downward spiral of indebtedness,so more than others.

As peoples incomes, jobs and livelihood are put at risk anyone can end up with the not being able to repay their debt`s and anyone having been in debt will know when you lend your lender is your friend, but when in debt no one want`s to know you.

Then one day a bailiff comes calling and once, that`s right just once you let them over the threshold they can come back anytime and gain entrance by fair means and in most cases foul.

So it is time for a real overhaul.

Lib Dem Simon Hughes - Benefit Reforms Will 'Break Up Families'

If we want to change the welfare system firstly it has to be fair to both middle and lower class families alike. The system at present does not allow for anyone earning a low wage to be able to benefit as the word suggests from the construction of the system at present, these are typical of these figures picked up from a comment. It is an example of the unfairness in the gearing.

As for the cap it should be in place. So as people who have been claiming 170K plus on benefits to live in Knightsbridge cannot claim these types of benefits.

Families of 5 kids have been getting the following

Housing benefit - 104,000

Child Tax Credit - 13,337.04

Income Support - 5,539.67

Council tax - 2,157.83

Child Benefit - 3,863.91

Free Schooling - 6000 * 5 = 30000

Free Health Care - 1800 * 7

Total 172,000

Do Friday's European Downgrades Matter?

As the Euro Zone countries are all gradually down graded the affect will be felt by the lack of confidence that other non-euro countries will not invest in that country. The knock on effect is even more revealing as countries down graded that have at one time borrowed at the most advantageous rates of interest, will have to pay more and this will put a greater pressure on their ability to make repayment of their debt.

This will eventual lead to a bond melt down and will with in the next 6 months lead to a number of poorer Euro Zone countries leaving and decamping to other currencies, leaving the richer ones to their own devices.

Arianna On How To Fix America's Economy

The problem with capitalism is that it is geared to making money and not building up wealth and prosperity for the country. I was always of the mind having been involved in finance for many many years, that we look at the client as the most important and in this case the client is the country.

By providing wealth and prosperity for the people we can by gearing provide the way to fund the country by provision of a simple system of not-for-profit services providing jobs for people. These jobs have to be able to provide food, clothing and a home for people as a God given right and not short-term gain for long time profit for the politicians.
